OIL FREE TAHINI FREE HUMMUS RECIPES

TRADITION HUMMUS OIL FREE / TAHINI FREE:

  • 1 can chickpeas (do not drain or rinse!)
  • 3 tbl lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic parsley seasoning (or any of your choice)
  • 3 tbl mustard (any of your choice)
  • Whip all ingredients in either a high speed blender or a food processor for 1-2 minutes. Refrigerate for up to one hour before serving

DESSERT HUMMUS OIL FREE / TAHINI FREE:

  • 1 can chickpeas (do not drain or rinse!)
  • 2 tbl nut milk (any)
  • 3 tbl cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbl vanilla
  • **Optional: add either 3 tbl sweetner of your choice or 3-4 dates if you’d like it to be sweeter
  • Whip all ingredients in either a high speed bledner or a food processor for 1-2 minutes. Refrigerate for up to one hour before serving
